Growth in Air Freight Rates

As per Drewry Sea and Air Shipper Insight, the average rate for air freight is still showing an upward trend during September ($ 3.22/Kg) since its lowest rate in June 2015 ($ 2.86/Kg). However the rates are still lower than the same period last year. As per consultants, the trend would remain upward for the remaining months of the year considering the peak season for end of the year but the same high rates of average $3.92/Kg of November 2014, is not to be expected and acheived.
